About the Position
As a licensed electrician at BANN you will perform residential electrical repairs, panel upgrades, EV charger installations, lighting upgrades, and support heat pump electrical connections for homeowners throughout our service area.
You will work independently on jobs with the support of our office team and owner. We use HouseCall Pro for scheduling, dispatching, and invoicing — so paperwork is minimal and the process is organized.
Jobs are dispatched the night before so you always know where you are going and what you are doing. Customers are pre-screened and scheduled before you arrive. All invoicing and payment collection happens through the HouseCall Pro app — no chasing down payments or paperwork at the end of the day.
Our owner has 22 years of electrical experience and is hands on with the business. You will always have someone to call if you need backup, a second opinion, or support on a complex job.
What You Will Be Doing
Day to day work includes:
⚡ Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
⚡ Electrical panel upgrades and replacements
⚡ Circuit breaker replacements and installations
⚡ Outlet switch and fixture installations
⚡ Dedicated circuit installations
🚗 EV charger installations
💡 Interior and exterior lighting installations

- Maine Master or Journeyman Electrician license
- Valid Maine driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience with residential electrical work
- Ability to work independently and manage a job from start to finish
- Strong communication skills — you will interact directly with homeowners
- Professional appearance and clean job site habits
- Reliable and punctual — our customers count on us to show up when we say we will
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with EV charger installations
- Experience with heat pump electrical connections
- Familiarity with HouseCall Pro or similar field service software
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience with older Maine housing stock including knob and tube evaluation and service upgrades

Is this a full time position?
Yes. This is a full time Monday through Friday position. Overtime and weekend work is available but not required.

What does a typical day look like?

Do I need experience with EV chargers or heat pumps?
It is preferred but not required. If you have a solid residential electrical background we can train you on EV charger installations and heat pump electrical connections.
